The Z-AT Series sits at the top of Zapco's competition amplifier line — an evolution of the successful AP platform developed for competitors pursuing the highest levels of sound quality performance.

The AP Series established itself as one of Zapco's most successful sound quality amplifier platforms, earning recognition in competition vehicles around the world. Rather than replacing that success, the Z-AT Series builds upon it. Drawing from years of competition experience, Zapco refined an already proven platform with upgraded components, increased power, enhanced voltage regulation, more precise bias adjustment, and expanded system flexibility. The result is an amplifier designed for competitors who are always looking for the next improvement—because great products don't stand still.

Four Channels of Class AB Power

The Z-175.4 AT delivers 175 watts per channel at 4 ohms and 300 watts per channel at 2 ohms, providing four channels of Class AB amplification from a single Z-AT chassis.

The four-channel configuration makes it particularly useful for active front stages where multiple drivers require dedicated amplification. A single amplifier can provide two channels for a stereo pair of midbass drivers and two additional channels for midrange or tweeter duties, depending on the system design.

The amplifier can also be bridged to provide 600 watts per pair at 4 ohms, offering additional flexibility when the system requires higher output from fewer channels.

System Flexibility

Like the other Z-AT amplifiers, the Z-175.4 AT incorporates upgraded power-supply components, enhanced voltage regulation, refined bias adjustment, and socket-mounted operational amplifiers.

The two RCA outputs also make signal distribution to additional amplifiers straightforward in multi-amplifier systems.

System Application

The Z-175.4 AT is the most channel-dense amplifier in the initial Z-AT lineup and is particularly well suited to active front-stage systems where four amplifier channels can simplify the installation.

It can provide dedicated amplification for multiple front-stage drivers while maintaining a consistent Z-AT platform throughout the system. For larger systems, it can also work alongside additional AP or Z-AT amplifiers as part of a multi-amplifier architecture.
