Warranty

Every product we sell is new and backed by its manufacturer's warranty. Terms vary by brand and by product — here's how coverage works and how to make a claim.

What's covered

Every product sold by HF Audio Labs is new, authentic, and purchased through authorized distribution. Each one carries the warranty offered by its manufacturer.

Warranty length and terms are set by the manufacturer, not by HF Audio Labs, and they differ between brands and often between products within the same brand. We don't publish a single blanket period, because there isn't one that would be accurate.

If you want the specific warranty terms for a product before you buy, email support@hfaudiolabs.com with the model and we'll confirm them for you.

Why buying from an authorized dealer matters

HF Audio Labs is an authorized US dealer for the brands we carry. Manufacturer warranties generally apply only to product purchased through authorized channels. Equipment bought from unauthorized sellers, grey-market importers or private resale is frequently excluded from coverage by the manufacturer regardless of how new it is.

Keep your order confirmation. Proof of purchase from an authorized dealer is what establishes your coverage.

What warranties generally don't cover

Manufacturer warranties cover defects in materials and workmanship. They generally do not cover:

  • Damage from improper installation, wiring or mounting
  • Damage from operating a product outside its rated power, impedance or voltage
  • Burned voice coils, over-excursion or thermal failure caused by overpowering or a clipped signal
  • Water, moisture or environmental damage
  • Cosmetic wear from normal use
  • Products that have been modified, opened, or repaired by a third party, or that have had serial numbers removed
  • Products purchased second-hand or from an unauthorized seller

Specific exclusions are set by each manufacturer and take precedence over this summary.

How to make a warranty claim

  1. Contact us first. Email support@hfaudiolabs.com with your order number, the product, and a description of the problem. Do not send a product back to the manufacturer directly unless we tell you to.
  2. We'll help diagnose it. A lot of what looks like a failed component is a wiring, gain or impedance problem we can resolve without a return. If it's a genuine fault, we'll say so.
  3. We'll open the claim. If the product is covered we'll issue a Return Authorization (RA) number with return instructions and the correct address, or direct you to the manufacturer's service process where that's how the brand handles it.
  4. Resolution. Depending on the manufacturer and the nature of the fault, a covered claim is resolved by repair, replacement or credit. The manufacturer determines which.

Warranty is not the same as a return

If you've changed your mind about a product, that's covered by our 30-day return policy, not by warranty. See the Return Policy.

Warranty claims aren't limited to 30 days — they run for whatever period the manufacturer provides for that product.
