AudioControl EPIC ACEI617 — 17 ft 6-Channel Twistcore RCA Interconnect

AudioControl EPIC ACEI617 — 17 ft 6-Channel Twistcore RCA Interconnect

The ACEI617 is a 17-foot 6-channel RCA interconnect from AudioControl's EPIC Series line. It carries line-level audio signal between components and is built to keep that signal clean over its length.

Key Design Features

EPIC Series interconnects use AudioControl's SolidPath cable architecture, a unified signal path that maintains continuity from conductor to connector to contact surface. The TripleTwist noise shield is a precision twisted-pair conductor layout that reduces noise and improves channel separation. Connectors use a Lockgrip 4-point RCA shell that grips the jack firmly.

System Application

A 6-channel run carries front, rear and subwoofer signals, or the outputs of a multichannel processor, to the amplifier location in a single cable. A 17-foot length is typical for runs from the dash to an amplifier under a seat or in the cargo area.

Installation Considerations

Route RCA cables away from power wire wherever possible, crossing it at right angles where they must meet, to minimize induced noise. Measure the actual routing path, including trim and seat-track clearance, before choosing a length.

HF Audio Labs Perspective

EPIC Series interconnects cover the signal path for systems where a well-constructed twisted-pair cable is sufficient. Installs with long runs near power wiring or higher noise exposure point to the double-shielded AC Studio line.
