AudioControl EPIC ACEK01 — 0 AWG PowerFlow OFC Amplifier Wiring Kit

The ACEK01 is AudioControl's EPIC Series 0 AWG amplifier wiring kit, built around PowerFlow high-strand oxygen-free copper (OFC) power and ground wire. It includes a 17-foot 0 AWG power wire, a 2.6-foot 0 AWG ground wire, a 17-foot 18 AWG remote wire, the EPIC ANL fuse holder and an install essentials pack.

Key Design Features

The power and ground conductors are full oxygen-free copper with hydraulic-compressed terminals. The EPIC ANL fuse holder uses solid brass conductors and accepts 0, 4 or 8 AWG wire, so the same holder works regardless of kit gauge. The install essentials pack adds heat shrink, crimp ring terminals and wire ties.

System Application

Match the kit gauge to the amplifier manufacturer's specified wire size. Among AudioControl's EPIC amplifiers, the EPIC2000 calls for 1/0 AWG power and ground; a 0 AWG kit also leaves headroom for systems with more than one amplifier.

Installation Considerations

The fuse holder belongs within 18 inches of the battery positive terminal. AudioControl does not list an ANL fuse among the kit contents, so plan on a fuse sized to the amplifier manufacturer's recommendation and the wire gauge. Keep the ground run short and terminated to bare chassis metal.
