The ACSK04 is AudioControl's AC Studio 4 AWG amplifier wiring kit, the premium tier above the EPIC kits. It includes an 18-foot 4 AWG high-flex OFC power cable, a 3-foot 4 AWG ground cable, a 17-foot 18 AWG remote turn-on wire, the FlexLink fuse holder with a 175A ANL fuse installed, and an install essentials pack.

Key Design Features

Power and ground use high-strand, high-flex oxygen-free copper for easier routing through tight body panels. Pro-Fit terminal ferrules finish the cable ends for a clean, secure connection.

The FlexLink fuse holder accepts 0, 4 and 8 AWG wire and supports both ANL and Mini-ANL/AFS fuses. FlexLink blocks are modular: multiple blocks can be combined or stacked using brass multi-links to expand into power or ground distribution as a system grows.

System Application

Match the kit gauge to the amplifier manufacturer's specified wire size, and confirm the included 175A fuse suits the system. Among AudioControl's EPIC amplifiers, the EPIC500 through EPIC1500, EPICFOUR, EPICBIGFOUR and EPICFIVE specify 4 AWG power and ground wire, with recommended fuses from 80A to 150A.

Installation Considerations

The fuse belongs within 18 inches of the battery positive terminal. Where an amplifier's recommended fuse is lower than the included fuse, an appropriately rated fuse should be fitted at the amplifier or in place of the included one.
