The EPICX V10 is a loaded, vented subwoofer enclosure from AudioControl's EPICX series: an 10-inch EPICX subwoofer factory-mounted in a ported cabinet tuned to 33Hz. It is rated at 500W RMS / 750W max and presents a 1Ω load.

Key Design Features

The driver uses a composite foam surround and a high-temperature, lightweight 2.38 in / 60 mm voice coil. The cabinet has a carpeted exterior and a removable insert panel that can be customized. An adaptive terminal cup lets the installer choose which side of the enclosure the terminal faces, and the large-gauge, quick-release black nickel terminals simplify connection.

AudioControl lists the EPIC500 as the suggested amplifier: 500W RMS into 1Ω, matching the enclosure's single 1Ω load. AudioControl recommends a low-pass filter at 80Hz for this enclosure, which is within the EPIC Series monoblock filter range of 40Hz to 180Hz.
