Sold without speakers, it provides the correct acoustic environment for the 8.165 woofer and 8.028 or 8.028S tweeter in a bookshelf form factor. Compact at 39.5 × 27.5 × 27.5 cm, the 8.PB is designed for bookshelf, stand-mount, and near-field reference applications. The internal volume and port are tuned for the 8.165 woofer's T/S parameters by ESB's acoustic engineers — the same people who designed the drivers. No guesswork, no approximation. Sold as a pair without speakers. Pair with the 8.165 woofer, 8.028 or 8.028S tweeter, and 8.6K2 CX crossover for the complete 8000 Series bookshelf reference system. For a stand-mounted version, add the 8.SB speaker stands.
