The ESB 9.1T-28 steps up from the 9.1T-25 to a 1.1"/28 mm silk dome — a larger radiating surface that extends lower in frequency and handles more power while maintaining the acoustic diffraction control provided by the 9000 Series' distinctive flower-shaped flange. At $1,299.99 retail, this is the tweeter for builders who won't hear the word 'enough'. The 28 mm dome provides greater bandwidth overlap with companion midrange drivers, allowing a lower crossover point that keeps more of the critical vocal range on the tweeter — a meaningful advantage in 2-way configurations where the crossover must straddle the most sensitive region of human hearing. Sold as a matched pair. Available with optional 9.1T-28 CNC Mounting Ring for premium flush installations.
