The ESB 5.6K3UX is the most complete package in the 5000 Series — a 3-way speaker system using the UMA integrated mid-high unit, packaged with the matched passive crossover network. Everything in one box: the 5.165 6.5" mid-woofer, the 5.UMA (2"/50 mm midrange dome + 1.1"/28 mm tweeter), and the 5.6K3 CX crossover.
The 5000 Series was engineered with a clear mission: achieve maximum transient response by minimizing moving mass. Lighter, faster drivers that react instantly to the electrical signal from the amplifier produce a more realistic, more dynamic musical presentation. ESB achieved this by pairing a lightweight 6.5" woofer with a dome-format mid-high unit that moves with exceptional speed in the critical vocal frequency range.
The UX designation means crossover included — no additional purchases needed. Install the 5.165 in the door, the 5.UMA at ear height, connect both to the 5.6K3 CX, and you have a reference-level 3-way Italian front stage ready to tune via DSP.
