The ESB 8.6K3 is the complete 3-way speaker system from the 8000 Series — ESB's 'Elevated to Perfection' lineup that represents decades of Italian acoustic refinement applied to automotive installation. The system bundles the 8.165 6.5" mid-woofer, the 8.075 3" cone midrange, and the 8.028 rounded 1.1" silk dome tweeter with a matched passive crossover network. Everything needed for a reference 3-way front stage in one box. The 8000 Series was developed as the direct successor to ESB's legendary 7000 Series — the goal was to improve what was considered difficult to improve, using the best materials available and applying the full depth of ESB's 55-year acoustic engineering heritage. Basket ventilation, magnet design, voice coil geometry, and cone material selection all received individual attention. The result is a system that sounds exceptional from first listen and continues to reveal detail as your system improves around it. Install the 8.165 in the door, the 8.075 in the kick panel, the 8.028 in the A-pillar or sail panel, and connect through the included crossover. Use a Zapco 4-channel DSP amplifier to move to active crossover operation — the performance step is significant and worth the investment at this driver quality level.
