ESB 3000 Series Performance in a Direct Replacement Format

The ESB 3000 Series 3.6C is a 6.5-inch coaxial speaker — a full-range driver combining a mid-woofer and tweeter in a single unit, designed to fit standard 6.5-inch mounting locations.

The 3.6C was designed to bring ESB's 3000 Series material approach to the most straightforward installation format available. No separate tweeter placement. No crossover to mount. No additional wiring complexity. The 3.6C installs where the factory speaker was.

Design

The 3.6C is built on the same mid-woofer platform as the 3.165, using the same approach to basket construction, pressed paper cone with waterproof treatment, and Y-35 ferrite magnet motor. An integrated neodymium tweeter handles the high-frequency portion of the system.

The coaxial format keeps the tweeter aligned with the woofer axis, which helps maintain consistent high-frequency dispersion across a range of listening positions.

Designed for Real-World Installation

The 3.6C fits standard 6.5-inch mounting locations in most vehicles. It is suited for factory speaker replacement, daily driver upgrades, rear fill locations, and applications where the installation does not call for a full component system.
