The dual voice coil design gives system builders wiring flexibility: wire the coils in parallel for 2Ω final impedance (maximizing power from a 2Ω-stable mono amplifier) or in series for 8Ω (useful for high-impedance output stages or multi-sub configurations seeking 4Ω final load). 3000 Series subwoofer construction: Y-35 grade ferrite motor, rigid cone optimized for controlled linear excursion, and a spider compliance tuned for the 10" chassis. The result is Italian-engineered bass performance — accurate, musical, and genuinely well-made — at an accessible entry price. The right subwoofer for the builder completing a 3000 Series front stage build.
