The basket geometry follows ESB's distinctive flower-shaped flange design, derived from aerospace engineering principles that reduce edge diffraction and produce a more controlled, lower-distortion acoustic output at high excursion levels. The 9.6W covers the bass and lower-midrange frequencies in any 2-way or 3-way 9000 Series system configuration. Paired with the 9.UMA for a 2-way build, or combined with a 9.3M or 9.4M midrange and a 9.1T tweeter for a fully separated 3-way, the 9.6W provides the low-end foundation that makes the rest of the system work. Sold as a pair. Optional 9.6W CNC Grille available.
