The ESB 8.6K3 CX is the 3-way passive crossover network designed and matched for the 8000 Series driver set — the 8.165 woofer, 8.075 midrange, and 8.028 or 8.028S tweeter. Crossover frequency, slope, and level compensation are optimized for the specific impedance and sensitivity characteristics of 8000 Series drivers. Using a generic crossover with these drivers will not achieve the same integration or voicing. Sold as a pair. Also available separately from the system bundles for builders who purchased drivers individually or need a replacement.
